Get the brand out there and with other good bball schools coming in--Charlotte, ODU (maybe next year), MTSU, UAB, and strong programs in UTEP and Tulsa if they stay, Cusa could begin to resemble the A-10 a bit more--at least be in the running for 2-3 bids every year.
Memphis hurts the league in the sense that nationally right now it's viewed as Memphis and the rest.
And to add to that there are many that think Memphis isn't very good and since they have dominated our conference that makes all of us look even worse, which really only hurts those with decent records that are playing for something like So. Miss.
Yeah, our friend Jerry Palm moved Memphis down to something like an 11 seed after the second win against USM and before the loss at Xavier. That goes even beyond thinking Memphis and Cusa are no good to something else entirely, like middle-school ridicule.

Warren Nolan has us in the field, and he got 67 out of 68 in his final bracket prediction last year.

We did not deserve it, no. There was a factor that I believe was involved that is not obvious and does not get talked about much. Our marketing is through IMG, not ESPN. Once our contract with ESPN was not renewed, we were, and continue to be, dead to them.
We barely get a mention, and to get us broadcast time on ESPN it has to be exceptional video,

And Air Force's RPI is 65 and Indiana State's is 70. Ours is 36.

Thanks for making my point...
Just now saw this.
I'm sorry, but when was the last time you ever talked about Denver in a casual conversation about college basketball? Don't worry, I'll wait.
