Two point road loss to a top 100 team...
Yep, it was ugly. However, the title is the reality. It doesn't mean the season is over. It doesn't mean our players suck. It doesn't mean our coach sucks. It doesn't even mean we'll drop out of the top 25.

Can the NIT talk and calm the hell down.

the loss isn't bad, its the culmination that everytime there is a big non conference game, we go AWOL.

We just haven't proven we can beat quality programs with quality coaches. That's a fact no matter how you spin it. I like Pastner but I really wonder if he'll ever take us to the next level (AKA winning big games). CUSA games aren't big games.

Amen. Let's keep supporting this team. Gonna feel absolutely amazing once we break through and make that magical run.

Yep, this game became way too important. Unfortunately it doesn't change that this game became way too important. We basically found ourselves in a position where we either proved we had SOME credibility, or prove we have NONE (national perspective). This game really should be an OK loss in the bigger picture, unfortunately our bigger picture is different from most other teams. We had our chance in the Bahamas and we blew it. We had one last chance and we blew it. Now, hopefully we can get a good matchup in our first game in the NCAA and this team can get a win.

We did defeat a much better Xavier team last year.

Non of the 24 wins this year have come against quality coaches or teams?

I enjoy the NIT talk. I mean, how often does a top 20 team lose by 2 points to a top 100 team on the road, and drop completely out of the top 25, out of the tournament, off the bubble, and into the NIT. (If we're lucky) I mean, where else but here can that sh*t even be conceived. 03-lmfao

That's a little harsh. I mean, every game we played this year was against a team that was well coached, had great players, and ran good plays.

This guy gets it.

Everybody has to have their own thread so that as many people as possible see their opinion.

This is why I miss the dewey decimal system. No order.

===================

Goodman is selling something. And you're buying it even though you hate what he's selling. Whose the sucker in that situation?

Holy **** our RPI dropped like a rock, all the way from 18 to 19! Man, we'll be lucky to even make the NIT now! Gonna be sweating like a ***** waiting for that NIT e-mail to come in, the good news is I can make other plans for Selection Sunday, perhaps I'll schedule a colon cleansing. Dumb *****.
