St. Paul (MN) Cretin Derham Hall teammates Jashon Cornell http://247sports.com/Player/Jashon-Cornell-20904 … and Tim Gordon http://247sports.com/Player/Tim-Gordon-29223 … visiting #NIU today.

Cornell is 2015 prospect, http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1833408/highlights/35266422
Pretty good highlights for a H.S. sophomore playing at the highest level in the state. Already has college size. Cretin has been a feeder program to Notre Dame for a long time. The best kid in the state in the 2013 class continued the trend. It is one of the few schools in MN that produces D1 talent every year. I have a feeling this kid is going to blow up. Tim Gordon might be the best CB in the state this year, will be interesting to see if Kill offers, CB will be the biggest position of need this coming year.

Tell Kill to get his own cornerback. :-)

Minnesota and Iowa offered Cornell today apparently.

RE: 2014 Recruiting Thread
I was watching some of Matthew Jordan's highlight videos yesterday...looks pretty damn good to me. I'm guessing he'll end up with a lot more offers than the ones he has now. There was some more conversation between (Jordan) Huff and Matthew (Jordan). Huff asked if Matthew was planning on taking an official to NIU and he responded that he might take an unofficial on April 6th but he wasn't sure yet.

If we don't get this guy we still have good QB's in Illinois this year. I wouldn't mind the guy from Danville.

Without a doubt though we need at least 1 if not 2 QB's in this class. A major priority that the sooner we get locked up the better.

May be coincidence but it seems like we are only looking for 1 scholarship QB. We offer Jordan within 3 days of the info about Thorson committing to NU being posted by Rivals.

I'm actually expecting several offers to Fla kids this year with the recruiting connections we now have there. My hope is between Alabama and Florida we would have at least 5 commits next year.

I'm actually a bit surprised on this one as didn't they just get the QB from Maine South this year? One of these guys isn't going to see the field.

We have offered a MLB D. Davis from Mobile Ala., a former teammate of Marlon Moore from Vignor HS. Let's not forget Ga. as a 3rd hunting ground. We have an offer out to RB Josh Boyd 5'9" 180 lbs. from Snelville, Ga. He may join current Ga. Huskies OL Tyler Pitt and FB Ricky Conors.

Yep and Fuessel from LWE ended up there. I doubt he'll end up staying at QB though. Either way NW is stock piling some very promising QB prospects. We better do the same this year.

RE: 2014 Recruiting Thread
Do we still have recruiting connections at St.Rita? Looks like there is some real talent there this year.

Also, it doesn't look like this Edgy Tim guy has mentioned us in many articles for recruiting as of yet. I would have thought our name would be out there a lot more by now.

St. Rita loaded: St. Rita will have a handful of D-I prospects in 2013. Tommy Mister, a transfer from Richards, recently added offers from Western Michigan and Iowa State, joining offers from Ball State, Illinois, Indiana and Notre Dame. Junior defensive back Lamar Dawson has offers from Central and Western Michigan, with several Big Ten schools showing interest. Junior offensive guard Matt Byrne added his first offer this past weekend from Central Michigan.
