2014 CB Deion Hallmon (5'11, 176, 4.46) #CypressBay (FL), has been offered by #NorthernIllinois. @JusT_Vib3 @SouthRecruit1 #WF #PUR #INDIANA

In addition to Hallmon we have offered 2 other Fla. kids. DB Mark Wynn 5'11" 165 lbs. from Ft. Laud., Fla and WR George Rushing 6'1" 180 lbs. from Coral gables, Fla.

I'm actually expecting several offers to Fla kids this year with the recruiting connections we now have there. My hope is between Alabama and Florida we would have at least 5 commits next year.

We have offered a MLB D. Davis from Mobile Ala., a former teammate of Marlon Moore from Vignor HS. Let's not forget Ga. as a 3rd hunting ground. We have an offer out to RB Josh Boyd 5'9" 180 lbs. from Snelville, Ga. He may join current Ga. Huskies OL Tyler Pitt and FB Ricky Conors.

Ya, and we have Malik Mitchell from GA coming in as well. However, I don't see connors ever getting good time, Pitt rotates in but I don't see him playing a lot either. Mitchell should play. I feel like yes we don't have a lot of experience at WR next year, but we are absolutely loaded out there. Brescacin, TLL, Brown, Sebastiano coming back, Wells probably is as well, then we have Miller and Clasper coming of redshirt years and Holder and Mitchell coming in this year. Lots of height and speed.

I'll be very interested to see how Brescacin does, especially.

RE: 2014 Recruiting Thread
I think he will be a legitimate real number 1 target to replace Martel. TLL is the leading receiver coming back, but is more of a slot guy, his numbers will improve but he still won't be number 1. I think Brescacin will have good numbers, he or Brown are the likely targets. I want to know who is gonna be most productive, as I said I feel we have lots of targets so it will be interesting.

Don't think Canada can create enough separation to be an every down WR.

When your 6'4 you don't need that separation. Jumpball candidate.

I'm not saying he won't play, but I think there are better options.

I get what you're saying, I'm not sure he will be great or not, I really don't know. But I do know when you're that tall, seperation isn't as important as it would be when you're a guy like Tommylee or Perez.

TE Semisch listed at 6' 8". Made that great TD catch at Army.

Like our TE's with Eakes & Maxwell. Maxwell looked athletic making that run on the fake punt in the OB.

I was shocked when Carey did not mention Semisch as one of the TE's looking to replace Schepler. If this kid has the athletic at all with his height, his playing time should increase exponentially.

Semisch has to block better to get more PT.

Have to remember his circumstances, he left a D2 program that dropped football and moved up to the MAC. That is a huge move up in competition. Likely just needs more work to improve the blocking. Wonder how every FBS & FCS program over looked a 6-8 TE with hands.

NIU can thank Trev Alberts (former Cornrhusker player and UNO AD) for this as he decided that UNO had to drop football and wrestling in order to move up to the Summit League and D1

Wow, that's an awfully drastic difference, isn't it? Are those number accurate?

Seems like some staffs treat making offers like buying lottery tickets.
