Supposedly has connections in WVU, some B1G contacts as well a Orangebloods Chip Brown. I dont take any of this mess to gospel, but for what it is worth...

The Dude of WV ‏@theDudeofWV:

"WVU source reiterated what Denis Dodd reported earlier this year. B12 adds 2 revenues stay the same no matter who they are."

"Its only 13 and 14 that will have to add money."

Let UC in the conference for half a share until UC proves to increase the value of the conference. UC would gain just from the schedule up grade and make more money with playing Texas, Oklahoma then they are now with there upcoming schedule. UC needs to get there foot in the door some how maybe offering to play in the Big 12 for less may work.
From what I hear out of WVU the Big12 could add any two schools and the payout would not change per school. If they decided to go beyond 12 those schools would have to bring value or at least be revenue neutral. That leaves expansion wide open and gives some "non-power" schools reason to hope. If expansion becomes a reality for the Big12 to continue to get along they could take two "Non-power" schools and not have to pry any ACC schools away. I wonder if they would add any more Texas schools though. They have a Texoma division already with UT, TT, TCU, BU, OSU, and OU. Could add two in WVU direction to help their travel.

you got a link or are you just another 05-stirthepot internet guru.
