Updated 2013 Football Schedule
This was released on Friday, but I haven't seen anyone here comment on it:
ORIGINAL SCHEDULE, Louisville:
Home: UCF, Memphis, Rutgers, San Diego State
Away: Boise State, Cincinnati, Connecticut, USF
NEW SCHEDULEm Louisville:
Home: UCF, Houston, Memphis, Rutgers
Away: Cincinnati, Connecticut, USF, Temple
CHANGES:
Home: replaced SDSU with Houston
Away: replaced Boise St w/Temple
I like Houston better than SDSU at home, and traveling to Temple is cheaper than Boise, so I'm calling this an improvement... what say YOU?

Huh? Where did THAT come from?
Of course I would comment on a CHANGE to the schedule. I'm being serious when I say I think this is an improvement to the home schedule (whether it stinks or not is another issue). Of course SoS goes down, but that may pave the way for another BCS bid - the final one, IIRC. What's wrong with that?

It's really six of one, a half-dozen of the other. We're just biding our time now.
Quite frankly, if we have to play a Big East schedule next year, and if the only advantage to that is that it's the Big East's final year as an AQ conference. Both Houston & Temple are downgrades, in reality, and the easier the schedule the greater likelihood we'll enter the ACC in 2014 as Orange Bowl champs.
I just hope we can push our average attendance above 50K this year.

Not likely you'll play in the Orange Bowl next season. The O.B. picks first and will grab either a Big Ten or Big XII team or Notre Dame. Y'all may end up going back to the Sugar Bowl.

RE: Updated 2013 Football Schedule
Then the likelihood that we'll enter the ACC as back-to-back Sugar Bowl champs sounds even better!
