We have one of the largest outlet malls in this region of the US.
We have newly renovated facilities (may even do more by the time 2015 rolls around).
We'll give you a competitive game (see La Tech).
In 2015, you won't be traveling to a brand new FBS school... I wouldn't worry too much, Eagle fans
Very nice looking stadium, I am impressed. I will be honest with you in that I had not heard of your school until I saw we would play you so I did some research on it to figure out what to think. I must say you certainly seem to put a nice image as far as the trappings go, and since it appears yours is a young program it is impossible to judge your gridiron abilities, but certainly I am more impressed than I thought I would be.
As for USM travelling, I am not sure about 2013 after the debacle of 2012, but in the past USM has travel well in some areas and others not well at all. One of the problems USM has is it is far more respected outside it's area than inside for some reason. It has been a source of fustration for the school as far back as I can remember.
I had a guy from Germany tell me that USM gets more respect over there than in Hattiesburg. He had been in the country like 3-4 months.

Funny, I lived in Germany for 4 years. I didn't meet a single German who was a USM fan. Or even cared about anything to do with American college athletics.

I think you need to read the statement again since he said the person had been in Germany 3 or 4 months, so that would tend to make me think he was talking about a none German. I lived in Germany about 2 years (was at Ramstein AFB) in the 70s and I do remember sitting up until the wee hours watching a live broadcast of a Cotton Bowl with Alabama and an opponent I don't recall, which a few of the Germans working on base talked about, but most couldn't have care less. That of course was long before the Frankfort Galaxy.

I was less than clear. We were in Hattiesburg when my German friend said that. I don't think his statement had anything to do with sports. It was more of a general statement about the University. He had really aspired to the graduate program he was in; getting in was considered a coup for him and his German college. But when he got to Hattiesburg, he ran into the typical anti-USM townie attitude and was surprised by it.
