Probably not. In no particular order, Bill Russel, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan. He's not getting in front of those guys. Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Oscar Robinson. Not getting in front of those guys.

After that, when you start talking about guys like Tim Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, Dr. J., Jerry West, Stockton and Malone, Olajuwon, etc (and Lebron, he's in here, arguably on his way to the previous paragraph), his career would have been in there. Definitely top 15, probably a good argument for a top 10 player if he stayed healthy.

I agree with you.

It's the same argument I've made this whole thread. Penny worked his tail off, but as talented as he was, he didn't have that something extra mentally that could have made him a top five player.

Penny was the prototype for Lebron James (just didn't have the size and wasn't as tall).
