RE: Central florida
For the last time every, I'm not betting against our players, I'm betting against Blaine Taylor and against Vegas not realizing how bad we are quite yet.

It's not like I'm taking money out of the kids pockets or taking my donation back from odu. I'm simply making a little money off of taylor's inept coaching. Leaving Nick wright on the court for the final minute was so utterly stupid it is beyond comprehension but par for the course for Taylor. I'm not even bashing Taylor any more that much this year because really, what's the point? I got on him when we lost games I legitimately thought we should win because of his coaching.

Now? I expect us to lose because of a lack of talent AND his inept coaching and this year hasn't surprised me much at all.

I told people this was coming until I was blue in the face last year but people just ignored it so whatever, no skin off my back to make a little money off of taylors piss poor coaching.

I'll make ya a deal, someone, anyone on here give me a LEGITIMATE reason why painter should have been on the bench for Wright in crunch time and I'll never criticize blaine again.

Go ahead......nothing? Yeah, that's what I thought. And him blaming the kids for that loss last night, particularly the freshman (and refusing to say anything about the dreadful Nick wright performance) is about as low as he's ever sunk.

Time to flush this program out because right now, it's absolute garbage.

Loved the effort by Bacote.

I'll root for these guys as long as they do not start mailing it in, like they did vs Richmond.

Liked the press. Still befuddled by BT's lineups, particularly at crunch time, but I have been confused about his rotations since his arrival.

If McEwen can play and improve, and/or Larsen can be evaluated to be viable/unviable for next year, then I personally would prefer to see those two develop vice watching another missed layup or turnover by Nick Wright. That fake three, drag the foot travel charge occurs every game, has for many years, and has never been corrected. Enough is enough.

Not like we are playing after the schedule runs of of games.

Frankly, I see no other choice than Larsen coming back. Even if we het a decent big in the spring, we need another warm body.

RR-didn't you have to buy back points in both instances to get your money? In that case, Taylor actually exceeded the Vegas expectation for those particular games.

Razor, I would guess that the reasons Nick was in instead of Painter was that he is a slightly better defender and a far superior free throw shooter to this point. Nick has shot 80% so far on 30 attempts, while Painter has shot 62.5% on 32 attempts. No doubt in my mind that Painter has a far superior offensive game, though.

we were losing....no reason for a FT shooter to be in, they weren't going to foul us.

They did, however, attack the paint 2 possessions in a row with nick wright "patrolling" the middle and not surprisingly, they scored both times to push a 2 point lead to 6.

Blaine was horrible last night, absolutely horrible. We could have beaten that team with a real coach, no question in my mind.

You could really drive yourself crazy trying to guess what the reasons are for our player rotations. I'll say this ... No matter who is on the floor, we look overmatched against teams like UCF.
