It will be a good, close game and definitely won't be anything like the 2005 score. Bulls will lead after the 3rd and then UCF comes storming back in the 4th. 26-21....Goal posts come down and all!

If UCF joined the league, I would have to rank this budding rivalry almost on par with UC-UL, but obviously behind Pitt-WVU. Do we have any other seriously intense rivalries? UConn-Rutgers has potential down the road. Who for Syracuse?

The only way CFU gets in is if we allow Marshall into the Big East as well.

Ok whatever, getting back to the ORIGINAL thread, USF has signed to go to Kansas next year, the return will be in 2008 in Tampa. The game the Bulls had in Gainesville that year has now been moved to 2011.
Right now the Bulls are scheduled to go to Gainesville in 09 and 11.

Just remember, UF and FSU will NEVER play a series where they will have to come to Tampa - outside of a bowl game. This is just the cruel reality which they force upon all Florida teams other than Miami.

This will change if USF puts enough good years together.

It's funny, nearly every fan is confident and happy to think it's a real possibility of UCF joining in a few years..........and then we have the Bulls fans who will tell you that we'll never join.

Hmm, I wonder why......

There is NO reason for UF or FSU to visit Tampa at this time since they gain nothing from it. As our program gets stronger and becomes more prominent in the national eyes the odds will increase FSU might, UF i never see that happening. But we might get them in a Bowl game.
With UF hopefully we would go up in 09 to the swamp beat them and then drop the 11 game. If they want to even series they must visit Tampa that would drive Gator fans insane.

Get another line. That dog don't hunt. West Virginia and Marshall are two different types of universities with different missions. USF and UCF are the same type of universities in different cities just over an hour apart. It is not the same situation. You need a better argument than that.

The partnership might not be a desired fit for some selfish Bulls fans, but it's a perfect fit for the rest of the conference. Get used to the idea. The drumbeat is only going to get louder and louder. You can say "Marshall" until you're green in the face, but no one is listening to those denials.

This is all a stupid back n forth NONE of us here will determine who if any will be added to BE. If UCF is added fine but until that happens i rather concentrate and discuss the PRESENT BE members and NOT have ALL USF threads turned into a meaningless back and forth about UCF.
The original thread HAD NOTHING to do with them.

Amen. Damn near anytime USF gets mentioned, a UCF fan feels compelled to say something and turn it into a USF/UCF discussion.

I would love to see USF get a series started with Georgia Tech.
Our new AD has done a pretty good job at getting 1-1 with BCS teams, obviously being in the Big East has helped but so far we have
North Carolina away 2006, Home 2007
Kansas away 2006, Home 2008
Miami will be in Tampa in 08 or 09 returning our trip there this year.

There will be a few more announced soon since we still have oppennings to fill for 07 and on
