You probably need to edit the title of the thread to "La Tech Legit." Games are 4 Quarters.
And it could be argued that tech only played 3. At the end of 4 you were on the short end of the scoreboard. Nice comeback, your offense is explosive. But it takes Defense and Special Teams in addition to offensive fireworks.

Being down by around 4 scores in the first quarter justifies the title.
What about winning by 4 scores in the final 3 quarters?

Tech should be commended. That was an incredible game. And, you have one of the best offenses in college football.
Your fr. RB is a stud. While Malzahn loaded up on transfers, he missed that one. (I think kid was committed to Tech before Malzahn.)
IMO, Tech would win the Belt this year.
Experienced team with a lot of offensive weapons. I imagine they only finish the season with one loss.

He visited stAte, but wasn't impressed. The Razorback fans were surprised they didn't offer him. He was a beast in high school, but played at a VERY small school, so it was hard to tell just how good he was. They were wrong.

That isn't true. Freeze didn't recruit him and Malzahn came in after he committed to Tech. Kyle Coleman, Fredi Knighten and Dezmond Stegall were all more impressed with their visit to stAte obviously.
Dixon was from a small school and only had one FBS offer as of January because of it. Fortunate for Tech he was in their backyard.

He had committed to Tech before we hired Malzahn, we tried, but in the end he had been Brainwashed into believing that Ruston was a beautiful place to live.
Of course, if you have grown up in a town of 2,000 people like he did, everywhere looks beautiful.

They would contend but I say 3 teams out score them with that d. Worst corners I have seen this year. And only played 1 legit team

It really takes a great team to beat us. The only 2 losses in the last 14 games were to #15 TCU (31-24) and #22 Texas A&M (59-57). You guys are underestimating us for some reason. If we can score 57 on A&M (giving up 14 pts a game), I feel we could score 60 on Sun Belt teams. That sounds like I'm underestimating your teams, but I'm not... our offense is just that good. I do think there are some Sun Belt teams that could score 40 or more on us though.

You really think A&M will finish ranked with that pathetic Defense? They still have LSU, Alabama, Mississippi State and Missouri left to play. They already have 1 loss, and will probably end up with at minimum 4 losses

I do think A&M will finish ranked if Manziel stays health (he is their team). Their defense has been pretty good:
Florida - 20
SMU - 3
SC State - 14
Arkansas - 10
Ole Miss - 27 (with 6 A&M turnovers)

If they can stop Manziel (like Florida did), they will stop A&M. He's a very good player though. Florida beat them by 3 and they appear to be about as good as there is in the SEC. I'm looking forward to watching them the rest of the way to see what Johnny Football can do against LSU and Alabama. Their defense will be fine against SEC running teams.

No one in the belt has any room to discredit La Tech. I don't see a single team in belt hanging with A&M like Tech did. Tech would run the table in the belt.
