I tell you what, A&M has done everything a team possibly could do to lose this game. All you have to do is look at the penalties in this game. That is what kept this game close.

Pretty crazy game

La Tech let the fifth or sixth place team in the SEC hang 59 points on them in their house. The TAMU QB has over 575 yards alone.

La Tech resume. Beat Illinois (has 1 FBS win - over a MAC team). Beat Virginia (has 1 FBS win and has lost 5 in a row). Beat a so-so Houston team that lost to a FBS transitional team. Beat a Rice team with 1 FBS win. Beat a UNLV team with 1 FBS win and a loss to a FCS school. Has no wins over any teams with winning records. They should enjoy the Independence Bowl. Because La Tech has earned that bowl.

19 penalties for 175 yards...some killed drives and allowed Tech back into the game. In the end, it was a very entertaining game.

I love to bash Loser Tech at every opportunity, but if you put up 57 pts on A&M, that's commendable.
