SBC Away Team Ticket Allotment
I read that the C-USA requires all member schools to reserve 2K tickets for the visiting team for conference games. Does the SBC have similar requirements?

I'm sure there's something along those lines, but as is the case in any game, a few days before the visiting school returns their unsold tickets. Outside of historical rivals and schools located within say...200 miles of one another, I doubt there's been very many conference games at all where a visiting team brought 2k.

RE: SBC Away Team Ticket Allotment
It's going to be rare for the visiting team use fullfill their allotment unless its a close travel partner such as WKU vs Middle Tennesse or Troy vs South Alabama or UL vs ULM. WKU brought maybe a few hundred to Arkansas State this past weekend and that was around 330 miles and about 6 hour drive which made for a very hard travel for a one day trip which most will do. Anything under 200 miles I expect most top sun belt schools will use their allotment though.

North Texas has two visitor seating sections (124 & 125). Overflow, if any, then uses section 116. All other sections on this side of the stadium are for students.
Houston did bring enough fans for them to utilize 124, 125 & 116.

ASU sent about 2000 fans to MTSU last year, but a good portion of those were walk up tickets. I dont think our required allotment is that high.

Seems that ASU has always traveled pretty well to UNT.

Which falls within 200 miles. Troy vs USA is in the minority. We've brought well over 2k to Bowling Green before. Games that exceed 2k in traveling fans are in the minority, the majority of those games all fall within 200 or so miles of one another, there are exceptions still, we traveled well to Troy when that looked like it was going to be a great rivalry...

The tide might be finally turning back towards it being a great rivalry even if we lose so long as the game is as good as it was last year. I think we need to win for it to truly turn, but another close game would certainly help.
In total honesty, I think what would truly be best(for the health of the rivalry) is for us to blow you out this year, give us something to beat our chest about for one year and something to make you guys mad for next year and then have next year be another close game like last year, regardless of who wins.

not gonna happen.
Really depends on where both teams stand at the final game of the season. IF our winning depends on us getting to a bowl. we will win I think. If the game doesnt matter at all and wont be bowling you guys win.

Its the way you word your responses. You may not mean to come off as a tool but through text its hard to make that distinction. And im not just talking about in this thread either. But Its just my opinion. MTSU has had a 10-3 Season before and we have beaten them pretty bad that year. WE just got their number and till they can prove to me other wise thats my prediction.
