There is no threat at that position. Have not seen enough of Fisher to know of his talent. We need lots of help at QB. I am sure everyone thinks the same thing.

Strange that Keith, like Morgan before him, hasn't developed after a promising freshman year. Will watch if Hazell does any better with his QB recruits. Particularly interested in Reardon's progress.

Still, nice job to pick up a win in our opening MAC game on the road. How long has it been since we could say the ground game is a bright spot?

Love getting that victory @ UB! That's been a tough place for us in both football and baskets and I thought the refs were gonna get us again with the poor kick catch interference call and then the ref saying Dri stepped out at the 1 yard line.....

All in all a great win ON THE ROAD for our program and it builds some momentum for the Ball State game. I thought our D-line and LBs got some nice leverage on the Bulls and Darius Polk had a great game. Can't say enough about our offensive intensity when Fisher is on field along with the fact the lumber and lightning in the backfield---Durham & Archer---gives us a bonafide running game and threat first time since Eugene Jarvis!

Congrats Flashes, a well-earned victory!01-ncaabbs

I mean, c'mon two 100 yard rushers and one was not the QB...that's a good start but Fisher can be a threat as well. You have to feel that Tyshon will made our overall offensive attack even better by stretching the field and taking away another tackler and also becoming another passing target. Too bad Archer didn't make that catch over the middle last night or that first drive could have really made a statement early.

And the poor personal foul call on our guy, them throwing the flag for a personal foul on UB and picking it up, and the UB punt returner calling for a fair catch and then running and NOT getting a flag. The officials were pretty poor all night.

RE: Football 2012--Week 3.5: Buffalo
Huuuuuuge win KSU Football! I didn't get to see the game, but followed it on the gamecast via espn. I'm thrilled to come back to Ohio at 2-1! It was not pretty- missed field goals, penalties, whatever happend at the end of the 1st half to give up a 47 yard hail mary as time expired! BUT, The fact is we did what we had to to win the game and we DID! Most KSU teams of the past would've folded as soon as we gave up the hail mary!

This is exactly what our team has been missing all these years-the ability to find a way to win! We did the same thing last year when we stopped the losing streak against Bowling Green and won the last 4/5 to end the year! I think it was more beneficial for us to go in there and bang out a win like this than light up the score board for a major rout! To change our culture we need wins like this and it looks like Hazell and co. get that and are doing it!!

Dri Archer continues to impress with his big play ability, Durham continues to run the ball down the defenses throat and the defense is taking the ball away (3-1 turnover margain lastnite). If we continue to get this production from the D and run game all Keith will have to do is manage the game and play smart which I believe he can do. Very excited for the next 3/4's of the season!! I wanna see this team in a Bowl this holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scoring once we got to the redline was a little concerning, but I loved the running game. I think this team will have to run around 60-65 percent of the time this year unless Fisher shows some huge improvement. The longer the offense has the ball, the better our already great defense will be with the rest.

You folks saw more in Fisher than I did. Take away that last drive with the second team, and I didn't see much difference between him and Keith.

Neither is showing enough.

Maybe Goode will make a difference. He and Keith did have wonderful chemistry.

I'd also like to see more of Boyle.

It's not that I saw Fisher doing amazing things, but to me he has more upside than Keith, who appears to have reached his ceiling as a very mediocre game manager. With his strong arm, and ability to scramble, it just seems like Fisher could give us more. I would like to see him given a shot to start and see what he does with it. If he doesn't do anything, just go back to Keith.

Yes sir. It will take a packed Dix Stadium and strong showing in all 3 parts of football for the good guys to come out on top.

People need to come out and see this game! Anything less than the attendance we had Week #1 will be unacceptable (in my opinion a good crowd- student section was capacity!).

This is a big game and we definitely need asses in the stands! Hopefully the weather will comply cos people don't need any more excuses to stay away from the stadium than what they already have...

No way you'll get the same student crowd. Not at noon on a Saturday. By then, most of the students are off campus. I think I'm resigned to acknowledge that it's going to take a couple seasons of solid contention before the majority of our student body notices.

Well if you're right in your assumption that the difference between a packed student section and a half vacant one is as simple as a Thursday and Saturday gameday it would make a lot of sense to throw in at least another Thursday kickoff into the schedule early on in the schedule while the weather is nice to muster out all the support and bodies in the stands as we can get.

Hell, move them all to Thursday night 'cos then we may even pick up a few Ohio State fans that passed on going on Saturday due to a conflict of schedules with the Buckeyes game. We need a win against Ball State on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear you shaker but I am not sure I want someone in my stadium on a Thursday who is only there because the Suckeyes play on Saturday.

If, by the grace of God, we can string a couple eight or nine win seasons together the fandom will take care of itself. You'd fill the bandwagon and pull in some of those miserable Akron/Kent fenceriders who waffle back and forth between allegiances depending on which side is winning.
