Craig Esherick, one of my favorite coaches, has done a good job but still failed to lead The Hoyas into the NCAA tournament last year. He made his triumphent run into the sweet 16 two years ago, but will that be enough for him not to be replaced?

I dont think he will be fired quite yet, he has turned the program around from the shambles Thompson left it in. I hate saying bad things about Thompson he is quite possibly my favorite basketball coach ever. But Esherick does not have much longer in my opinion to turn the corner and get the program back to the Sweet 16.

you make a good point, as Georgetown knows they attract the players that can get them into the 2nd, or even 3rd round of the NCAAs each year. I'm thinking next season will decide Esherick's future.

I think that he will get 1 more year. He can get the recruits, he just has to make sure to get something out of them.

your right nate, that seems to be the case in a nutshell. I really do like Esherick, he made a bold statement by not accepting the NIT invitation, so I hope he can get it together next year.
