It wasn't mentioned today, but I started to wonder .... if Texas does not get the revenue it expected from LHN, do you think that will cause Texas to look into the Pac 12 again? Would Texas and Oklahoma approach the Pac 12 when the Big 12 TV contract expires (2019?). I think that seems more likely if the LHN goes belly up.
Regardless of the repercussions, no one in this area is crying for the Longhorns. Fans of A&M, Tech, Baylor, Houston, SMU, TCU, Rice, etc. aren't losing sleep over this situation.
Carriers or not, UT is getting $15 million+ from LHN. If you are saying, ESPN wants to renegotiate, then I'd bet they try AGAIN to form a Big XII network. Word is, another carrier is being negotiated. Interesting that the official word from Direct TV has gone from not negotiating to off and on negotiations.

LOL IF that happens and UT/OU/OSU/TT bolted for the Pac12 WVA will be standing there with their slong in their hand next to powerhouses kstate, Iowa st, ku, and baylor wondering what the heck just happened...that would be awesome.
UofL would then be very happy they didn't get the chance to join.

Only bad thing is that they didn't have it ready in time for the Florida A&M game. It will air on PPV because they couldn't get things done. FOX is producing the PPV.

If the administration is even remotely like some of their fans, Louisville would probably still run off to join the six Big 12 remnants at that point anyway, attempting to drag Cincinnati and Memphis along for the ride as well.
