Didn't really ask you to accept it: just stating it like it is. 05-stirthepot You also left out the 30,000 they took to the Orange Bowl the year prior.

And as a Louisville fan, out of principle, I do not like having defend one of our biggest rivals. If you make me have to defend Memphis, I'm punching somebody 05-mafia

Notre Dame has a deal to face the Big East in the Pinstripe Bowl if there are not enough eligible Big 12 teams.

Since the Big 12 only has 10 teams, but 7 or 8 bowl deals, it is very likely this clause is used in 2012 or 2013.

It figures that Dodd would not include facts which cloud his agenda of getting Notre Dame into a conference.

Very disappointing that Swarbrick never mentioned the Pinstripe since he signed the original contract himself.

Rutgers did fine the year they played in the Insight Bowl. If they went to the Fiesta Bowl, they would be fine. The bigger issue is where people are buying their tickets from and the market being flooded with other tickets when the Fiesta Bowl or the Orange Bowl or the Sugar also had the national championship.

Well that Insight bowl was Rutgers 1st bowl in 30 years.

And it was still a 3rd tier bowl like every bowl this conference has sent us to even tho we have the best traveling fan base in the conference.

That's because Marinatto was the commissioner. He was as clueless as RC Johnson was as AD at Memphis. Now Aresco who does have a clue will see to it that the Big East gets its share if not more. Good days are ahead for all of us. We're all in the same boat and need to stick together.

Marinatto wasn't the commissioner then.

Marinatto gets blamed for everything regardless of what he did or don't do. I think he was once reportedly the cause of third world poverty.

Rutgers bringing 15000 to Houston and 12000 to Toronto is a heck of a lot more impressive then the 22K that Cincinnati brought to the Sugar Bowl or the 9000 they brought to Memphis.

Our fans are very fairweathered and don't come to home games unless it is a marquee opponent or a big championship type game. That being said, when it is a big game UC fans can show up as well as anybody in the BE. Cincinnati brought 20K to the Orange Bowl, 30K to the Sugar and 15K to the Liberty Bowl. We've also traveled really well during the regular season as well to games against Pitt, Louisville, Tennessee... heck we brought a few fans out to Oklahoma and Oregon State.
