Time to hire new commish then.
This. His job is to do what's best for the MAC, not to be Delany's sockpuppet.
Agreed, The MAC is in a unique position. With The MWC back filling with WAC teams and C-USA taking up Sun Belt and FCS teams thus causing the Sun Belt to bring up USA GSU and TXST the MAC is the only conference unscathed. In reality this is when all the schools should be upping the commitment and the commish should be the salesmen for the MAC. Solid football where every team has something to offer. All the way from Ohio, Toledo, NIU to Akron, UMass, and EMU. Everybody offers something to the football table.
Same with Basketball everybody offers something, baseball as of right now Kent has that taken care of and of course Akron has the soccer prestige although I don't think they are in the MAC for soccer, I'll let one of our Akron friends confirm that for me.
But either way the key is that even though the MAC is not a BCS conference, we have I feel a very exciting product and the commish should be fighting to see that we have a seat at the table. There is no excuse for this. Every team should have a shot at a national title just like any other collegiate athletic championship. Sorry for ranting, I'm off my soap box now....

I agree with you but our problem is that we can not even get our own fans to understand this.
