"Our universe is thought to have begun as an infinitesimally small, infinitely hot, infinitely dense, something - a singularity."
http://www.big-bang-theory.com/
The Big Bang is not about the origin of the universe, as I said. Rather, the Big Bang theory's primary focus is the development of the universe over time. The Big Bang does not imply that the universe was ever point-like though I understand the comparison.
The Big Bang Theory describes the moment that "nothingness" became the universe. The singularity, at the moment of creation, was infinitly small, infintly dense and only contained hydrogen and helium. Space and time didn't exist, they came into being inside the singularity and expanded.
What you are talking about is the Inflationary period which occured during the Big Bang Theory, granted within billionths of billionths of a second after the singularity began expanding, but still it described a period of time during which the universe transitioned from a singularity into its present state.
It is widely recognized among all major theories, The Big Bang, String Theory, and M Theory, that the universe began as a singularity.
Quote:http://www.big-bang-theory.com/Big Bang Theory - What About God?
Any discussion of the Big Bang theory would be incomplete without asking the question, what about God? This is because cosmogony (the study of the origin of the universe) is an area where science and theology meet. Creation was a supernatural event. That is, it took place outside of the natural realm. This fact begs the question: is there anything else which exists outside of the natural realm? Specifically, is there a master Architect out there? We know that this universe had a beginning. Was God the "First Cause"? We won't attempt to answer that question in this short article. We just ask the question:Does God Exist?"

Actually, as the theory goes, H and He did not start forming until several minutes after the Big Bang. Until then the T and P were to high for matter as we know it..

You are right, I didn't mean to imply that H and He existed in the singularity at the very begining but merely before much of anything else. The underlying point was that pretty much no matter what theory one looks at, it began as a singularity.

Satan created those bones to manipulate us into thinking the earth wasn't 10000 years old.

The Big Bang Theory is the only show I watch with any regularity.

Yeah, he did, afterall, create Satan who planted all these mythical dinosaur bones. Everyone knows they're fake. Only non-believing atheists believe these so-called "dinosaurs" actually roamed the earth. Probably think volcanos are just natural occupancies as well when we all know they only happen when Satan is angry about something.

He was, afterall, the one cast into the middle of the earth, the one that controls all these "pipes" to the volcanoes.

RE: 46% of Americans believe that god created humans <10,000 years ago
Let's keep in mind we are talking about Jehovah God, the God of the Old and New Testaments, the Messiah prophesied in the books of Isaiah and Ezekiel.
Lumped into the addressed topic requires that you also believe, in full, the true doctrine of God in the Bible.
So based on that alone, you as a believer in Christ must be more focused on the mission of God's Kingdom, rather than an empirical argument that never seems to bear any fruit whatsoever. I would strongly caution anyone who really KNOWS Jesus and has the Holy Spirit dwelling inside them to not get caught up in the midst of pride and anger.
---
That said, the idea that God's power can be limited by human reasoning is complete BS. It is scientific suicide to try and study the theoretical limitations of an all-time-encompassing deity who is also an essential operator outside of the fabric of time.
tldr; God is who He is, and science can't necessarily disprove any conceivable outcome of creation.
