Texas gets it way...again...as the fans who know them well have been saying. They do not want to expand and would be quite happy remaining at 10. It makes there path to the playoff much easier in their minds. So, you will have to out vote them, and their yes men (Baylor, TT, and probably TCU) to make it happen. At least for the time being anyway.

Now we need to get BYU in and wrap up the contract with NBC/Fox that is equal to or better than the ACC. I believe we can do it just like the NYTimes article stated...due to supply and demand.

Has anyone seen Wilkie? I hope with this difficult news, he is alright.

I certainly wouldn't hang my hat on the phrase "expansion talk put on hold, for near future".

Certainly open ended with no finite time, similar to quotes from previous go rounds with expansion.

We shall see this summer. My hope is all the BE teams currently members remain.

Believe whatever you want to believe. Everyone knows Texas runs the Big 12, but they need some schools to vote with them to do it. Oklahoma had their moment last summer when they tried to escape to the Pac 12, but the Pac 12 said not without Texas. That was the end of their 'moment'.

I am not saying that everyone votes with Texas but there is no denying the reason Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, and their 100 plus year rival A&M left the Big 12. Texas gets whatever they want...period. The reason TCU is in the Big 12 is because Texas approved it. But you go ahead and believe what you want if it makes you feel better.

Well i wasn't saying anything about UT running the Big 12 I was saying TCU Isn't Texas yes man..also they might be running the BIG 12 but we all new Texas didn't want TCU In but the others did and Texas must of didn't have the votes to help keep us out..

I'm not no fool about Texas running things and I'm sure they got some that vote with them, even though they shouldn't, but saying TCU is One.. Is false..
Texas looks out for self and TCU will due the same.. The leadership from SWC days are long gone.. TCU made It with out Texas and will due so if needed ..
