But IT IS idiotic because, those people are dying (regardless of nationality). At the end of the day, I see the type of never-ending counter-arguments you are making with two of the most respected posters on this board. Seems to me, you don't acknowledge things, you justify them with your sense of entitlement....
Very common recent trend. Chop away as OT said. But be ready to be chopped at.
Damn. I literally can not add anything.

Not accounting for all of it, but Rowdy earned a few of his negs by popping up on blazertak telling us how UTSA was going to whoop our ass.
Most of the reaction was of the "Who the hell is this guy?" vein.
Seems he's settled in and settled down now, though, which is good.

Personally.... I don't do a whole lot of + or - repping people. But if I see a gem of a post.... I might toss out a +1. ...if you drop the hammer....a +3.
I rarely neg rep people.... you got to really send me through the roof in a rage fest for me to toss out negatives.
That said, if someone gives me a neg rep I want to earn it :D The only two I have gotten here since 2004 were for pretty tame smack LOL. I want a neg rep to mean I really and totally prison raped you in the worst way with a post.
*********
I don't hover over rep statuses of anyone however.... I look at join date and post count. I always enjoy veteran quality posters/posts.

I've never given anyone neg rep points either and try to just ignore those posts that might deserve them, but on occasion frustration out paces patience and I do respond. Everyone has a bad day and you never know what causes a poster's reaction.

It's a sarcastic message board response where you alter someone's post in a quote to say something other than what they said...normally into something that makes them/their post look bad or funny.
That's something that's annoying to me. Altering someone's post, even with the "fify" notation is pretty disrespectful IMHO.
Sadly, I've been known to do that from time to time. In my case, it's just meant in good fun.

You are wrong. If the problems in Mexico are staying in Mexico why would there be a need for an alligator filled moat?

That may have been the least intelligent response I've ever read, no offense, since of course the problems aren't staying in Mexico... al la Fast & Furious.

No offense taken. Obviously, when talking about alligator filled moats, my response was definitely the least intelligent thing. But yes, the problems we were talking about in this thread are staying in Mexico. Sorry if that contradicts a movie. I wonder if Virgina would be safer if there were a couple of well placed alligator filled moats around the area.

Misconceptions.... Bad ones at that.... That's as bad as politicians who live 2,000 miles away, who think a fence will do the job.... What a waste of taxpayer money. LOL, as if wirecutters dont exist in Mexico.
Don't think a moat would have saved the folks that have died there. Nor would it serve a purpose on this side.

Now, go and put an alligator filled moat around Fort Bliss, and the crime rate in El Paso will drop down to about zero. A very unpopular, but very true, thing to say.

So true. As former military myself, I can say that most military folks are good people... But out of 36,000 individuals, you're gonna have some bad apples. Unfortunately, when they do go bad.... They go off the deep end.

Others look at alligators and think "Stay away they are dangerous". Louisiana looks at alligators and thinks "Catch him so we can eat him".

LOL, this ban was from the VT shootings and had little to do with actual ODU crime except for MD Delegate Elijah Cummings nephew was shot dead @ ODU b/c he was dealing drugs. Good for him.
As far as the Alligator moats here... one around Richmond and one around Hampton Roads would do just fine. The rest of the state does a fine job self policing.
