IMO it will be in the MWC, because I think that the Big East is headed for splitsville.

Truth? They wanna stay in the Mountain West. Most fans feel like we are throwing the other sports under the rug after we finally got a basketball coach who cares about winning. It will hurt our other sports we are good in (Tennis and Gymnastics) as well. Our wrestling is our #2 sport and it is in the Pac-12.
I think they just want everything in one conference and wants to be with Fresno and Nevada. If Fresno goes to a split Big East, I imagine everyone will be happy. Some of you go to MWCBoard.com. The Boise fans over there talk smack just to piss people off about how great The Big East move is. That is the minority.

If it split then it would almost certainly be The Big East. No problems with adding more teams out west if that happens and they would almost certainly grab Fresno and UNLV for the markets.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for UH to kick anyone up and down the field. Don't misunderstand me; I am a fan and they have definitely had their moments. Domination is a bit much to expect, though. The history of UH football has been one of peaks and valleys.

Ya know if the Big East did split then most likely Southern Miss, Fresno, and UNLV would get the call. I have always wondered what Southern Miss has thought about them moving toward The Big East. Not fans but the AD and President. Have you heard anything?

Even if that happened, USF,UCF,Rutgers, Uconn, Hous, Smu,Memphis, Temple, Navy and likely Cincy have no where to go. That along with Boise and SD state are going to be light years ahead of anywhere else any of them could go.

You simply move forward from there, and those schools will have no problems adding more if they desire.

2nd on the split, keep having your lil wet dreams, it isn't gonna happen. The BB schools will make at least an extra mil per year staying with the rest. No way they take a 25 to 35% cut in income.

Who is doing the splitting? I imagine the last schools remaining will keep the BE name and collect all the exit fees unless there is another arrangement made by all members to dissolve the conference. I don't see that happening.
