Why is it so funny, have they never finished in the top 4 of the big east before?

What's really funny is you think RU gonna do something. You might want to check history of RU to see exactly what they have won in football or anything in the BE. What makes you so sure their new guy can do as well as Schiano who pretty much did not win squat while he was here?

Oh so it all has to do with the past and not that the UConn offense is a dumpster fire? Rutgers has two good young RB's and the best receiving core in the big east not to mention a top notch defense. UoL has the best QB and a bunch of young studs, but UConn who has a one legged drifter at QB will be in the top four. Suuuuuuuure!

RE: Big East 2013 Ranking
Has Rutgers ever won the Big East? I genuinely have no clue if they have. So it is kind of ironic that a Rutgers fan would make such comments about UConn (didn't they beat RU by like 30 last year), but considering the source it is no surprise...

RU has a chance to win the BE last year. They came to UCONN and got spanked. They went home with tails between their legs.
RU has been playing in the BE since when BE started football in 91 (?). They got won grand total of ZERO BE championships.
UCONN has been playing BE football for 7 years and has won 2 BE championships in football. UCONN has been playing D1A football for exactly 8 years.
I find it ironic a program like RU is talking smack about UCONN in anything

So you're proud to he the example for why people say we don't deserve to be in the BCS? Are you seriously bragging about an 8-4 season and getting waxed in the Fiesta bowl?
As for the Cincy fan, if past accomplisents meant anything you wouldn't have won the big east ever. But hey why listen to me, I only post common sense.

Cincinnati has played Big East football for 6 years and has won it 3 times, Rutgers has been in the league how long? and has won how many times?

And that means what exactly? That they can never ever win?
Also when did I say they would? I just think that the OP took the two teams favored to win this year and have a lot of good young sophs to finish in the last two spots in the east division.
What happens if Rutgers wins the conference this year? What happens to your silly argument then?

You say that Rutgers has two good young RB's, meanwhile UConn has the guy who was second in the league in rushing last year returning, and he'll only be a sophomore.
What has Rutgers' receiving core done to be called the best in the Big East? Recruiting rankings? Because UConn has two 4* top 150 guys on the roster now.
Also, Chandler Whitmer is going to start at QB and he's only going to be a sophomore next year. He was considered the most accurate quarterback in the country coming out of high school.
Sorry, but you're either really misinformed or your bias is clouding your judgement.

Ugh... cause UCONN had a walk-on QB and no WRs last year? And they were transitioning to a new system with a brand new coaching staff?
You don't watch football do you?

They were 5th in the league last year in scoring, ahead of Louisville, who you say has "a bunch of studs", and they scored only two less points per game than Rutgers on average, who you think is one of the best teams in the conference.
And they did that with a non-recruited walk on first year quarterback.
