Alandise Harris
Sorry if you guys are discussing him elsewhere... Couldn't find anything in a quick search.
Any open scholarships for him at this point? Any rumors that you may be his destination?

Oh wow didn't know about this. According to his Twitter he is coming back to Arkansas, but doesn't know which school yet. We're full on schollys but we've also heard that the coaching staff is still likely recruiting so it seems someone may be leaving.

We will make room for this kid-
Harris was second on the team in scoring (13.3 ppg), rebounding (6.4 rpg) and blocks (1.3 bpg), and he shot 53% from the floor while starting every game but one. The valid criticism of Harris was that his defensive intensity was inconsistent, and he never did pull down as many rebounds as his size dictated that he should have. Last year, Harris had as many games of just 2 rebounds (three) as he did games of 10 or more.
Steve will fix that.

Do we have any indication he would be coming to UALR? Could be Fayetteville or ASU, unless someone knows more than is being posted here so far.

RE: Alandise Harris
Well I would assume if he's going to play college ball, and he's coming back to Little Rock, it's not going to be at Philander Smith or Arkansas Baptist. Although I guess that's always a possibility. And as we've discussed before, our transfers have been among our best players throughout the years. Love to have this kid. Where did he play high school ball? I would assume that our coaches always work with these really good kids who go out of state to big schools, to keep the door open for them if they choose to come home. Two good years from a big time transfer can keep our program on the right track. Three years even better.

Going back home to Little Rock huh. Last time I heard, UALR was the only one of those schools located here. Boy, he's covering all the bases isn't he. If the pigs don't want him, then he'll consider hiring out his services to one of the lowly peons.

Yes, he is going home to Little Rock. Little Rock is his home. That has nothing to do with where he will attend school. He said he will transfer somewhere in Arkansas. I would assume (hope?) he was recruited by our coaches before and that he has a good relationship with them. On the other hand, if he turned us down the first time, it may have not ended on a good note. Who knows, but someone in the State will get themselves a nice player. Maybe after being a good distance from home he is ready to be back in Little Rock. Of course, he could go to Conway and get the best of both worlds- basically back home (close enough for mom to do his laundry and get a good meal), but far away enough that momma doesn't have to know everything he is doing.
