Nope, sorry. The narrative has been set by the left in this country that the crime itself is not the issue, but the race of the victim.

The media hasn't hyped this story because a shooter wasn't prosecuted for the killing of a 15 year old kid.

All of these occurred because the victim was black. Had he been anything but black this would not have been a blip on any of the above's radar.

Since the institutional left in this country has made things like this about race, a story like this very much has connection. And it is the left that has decided to make those links. It's just in situations like this the left isn't as outraged.

I'd probably agree with that statement. I think that's why there putting it on the grand jury. If Zimmerman did use self-defense, the grand jury could hold off on charges. If they give the go ahead, then the defense will file a stand your ground motion and have a judge hear the issue. If it was truly self-defense, then the judge will dismiss the case and he'll take the heat instead of the prosecution. Or it'll go to a jury and if it is truly self-defense, then the jury will acquit him. In Florida, if there is reasonable doubt about whether it was self-defense, then the jury must acquit. It's not an affirmative defense that you have to prove as a defendant like is some other states. The burden of proof never leaves the State.

Today's right-wing is getting fairly close to being the modern-day Klan. There is virtually no minority issue where the right-wing comes down on the side of minorities. The video for which Fox (I actually thought it was Breitbart) offered to pay was of a specific incident--the alleged sporting on members of congress by TEA party members. There are videos of the incident, and they show pretty clearly that nobody spat on anyone. The request was for a contrary video and so far no show.

Which is why I didn't bother finding it. No matter what the video showed, you wouldn't believe it-even if you could see spit running down his face or other parts of his body because you would claim it wasn't a tea bagger and that it was just a plant.
