Having done 10 years total of marching and pep band (counting high school), I can tell you that out of 50 to 300 people you're gonna have your idiots that make the whole band look bad. They're usually taken care of accordingly even though nobody, not even other band members, may hear about it. When it's so many people in there you don't know everyone.

Honestly, this whole thing is stupid. The chant was stupid. And the reaction by some of the media is stupid. And some of the comments made on the Internet about it are stupid as well.

And I also think the title of this thread is stupid. USM didn't embarrass themselves. A couple stupid students embarrassed USM. I think there is a big differences. But I can understand why someone would want to word it like that.
