NIT for them is doubtful-- RPI is 120. They overachieved this season but true to form choked when it mattered most. Good ol Deadbirds.

You are probably right about their RPI keeping them out of the NIT..but they did move up to 102 in realtime RPI. If they don't get an invite, then the MVC won't have a school in the NIT.

The Valley this year was Wichita State and Creighton and everyone else. There was a 6 way tie for 3rd place, and so it wouldn't surprise me if the Valley got none in the NIT. As for ISU, if the season ended today they might have a chance, but all regular season champs get an automatic NIT berth, and there will be several league champs who lose in their tournament.

It's fun rooting against them BTW. As a born and raised Bradley fan I've been doing it for years. They're like the Cubs, only they don't play in a historic stadium and they're not loveable. Don't raise your kids to be ISU fans unless you want to set them up for a lifetime of heartbreak.

But I'm not here to talk about Bradley because they're not an expansion candidate. This is a football league first and foremost and ISU is a basketball school, and they're not particularly good at it either.

ISU ends up making the NIT, plays Ole Miss..good to see the quality of athletics at ISU is improving regardless of which conference they are in or end up in.

Congrats...most projections had you on the outside of the NIT "bubble" due to the RPI, but your run in the MVC tourney must've turned some heads. ISU is playing Ol' Miss Wednesday night on ESPNU.
