RE: 2012 SF Savon Goodman considering Memphis
I hope UNLV becomes dominant again. The NCAA really put the screws to them back in the day because of a 20 year old lawsuit. That 1977 team with the "Hard Way 8" was really fun to watch.

Read between the lines - when a highly regarded kid from Philly decides between UNLV and SMU, there's more going on than meets the eye.
$$$$$$$$$$$$ Trust me. Temple and Pitt stopped recruiting him.

Also its a new day in college basketball, "highly regarded" kids are considering UNLV & SMU now. All about exposure.
If you're looking for "exposure" those are not the two schools I'd put at the top of my list. UNLV will be on national TV about 3 times next year maybe.
And someone's high school coach saying they're qualified doesn't make it true.
UNLV will be a pre-season Top 10 team. Yes, you're going to get good exposure playing in that system, in that city, and for a talented team with 3 possible Top 20 picks in that frontline.
SMU has a HOF HC & are joining the Big East with us. You forgot about that? They've brought in 3 major transfers for 2013-2014, and Larry Brown has made it clear they're going to build up that program with better talent.
As I said its simply a new day in college basketball. It isnt just 4 teams who play on TV anymore.

Arizona State’s Savon Goodman will transfer and be able to play next season, source told ESPN. Averaged 10 and 6 last year.

Would be funny to see if we'd take him. No idea if he's grown up yet. We could use him though.

We have a lot to offer a grad transfer. Those players don't care about program stability... They want PT.
