GSU's was $22,678,186 for 2010-2011 so yeah those figures are 2 years old as our budget has increased by an average of $2.3 million a year for the last 5 years. I always go here for budget figures. Its the most up to date and it also has the private school figures.

Probably not too many people have noticed, but the biggest drain on Middle Tennessee's resume, men's basketball, is having the best season in decades and a win tomorrow at South Alabama would improve our record to 19-2 which would be the best start in school history and we'll have a chance to add a real signature win to our resume at Vandy a week from tomorrow.

That's because they're in Virginia you dumba$$. I know one thing for sure, I'm REALLY starting to hate UNT fans.
Yall hate anyone that is not in your region just reading this board and...you really shouldn't hate. In fact, yall have enough "ODU's up there to start your own yankee/eastern seaboard/part Southeast conference. Just Do It! Neither our region or the other regions are a fit, both geographically and every other way you could think of as well. We are all part of the USA and that may be all we have in common.
And DUMB ASS, what you seem to cannot fathom is that no one down here gives a **** about any of your schools "UP THERE." (And we know its visa versa). Go take a SMART PILL!

Have to agree. They sell out their 14k season ticket allotment in football and have a waiting list of 3k for season tickets every year.

Don't assume that the BE will always have its way and that any team they invite will automatically jump on board. In my opinion that is far from the case. They had to struggle to get some of the last few teams they got. Some of those teams may not be as anxious as you think. (Boise??)

If pUNT was doing that they'd be a lock. They aren't which is why they are just a potential candidate. No one is trying to hold pUNT back, just no one is giving them anything till they actually go out and earn something on the field or in the stands.

OK, its hard for me smack back to a Tennessean. My great great grandfather was a Texas Ranger in the 1830's and we "real" Texans love those Volunteers because of historic reasons of which a very famous one took place in San Antonio. My great great grandfather on my mother's side was a Conferderate form Alabama who went AWOL cause he could not stand shooting Americans no matter what damn state they were from (plus I know from all family accounts that our clan did not believe in slavery, either). You know, just like many Germans did not believe in what Hitler was doing as well.
And..... I'm bored and I love to get some of these people's dandruff up on this board because I know..................I can. If I thought anyone on this board was an official voter for expansion, I could lay the biggest, "most diplomatic" Texas B.S. than anyone but this is a smack board for all us smackers and I know CUSA/MWC presidents don't have time to read our crapola. Yet I have probably forgotten more about NCAA football than many on this board know about it, but I know ODU is a great basketball school but football? Come on now.
North Texas was playing and beating the Big Boys while some of yall schools were in NCAA Division II, III, IV or NAIA or whatever that lower division La Tech got most of their schools all time football wins they seem to sometimes list as NCAA FBS wins.

And pUNT also dropped by down to FCS because they ran their program into the ground. pUNT was NEVER one of the "big boys". ECU has never played a down of football at the FCS level.

Fans do silly things to make them feel better about themselves. ECU has the better record against UCF all time in general, and yet so many fans like to include the record when ECU was Div-1A and UCF was Div-1AA or lower...

Yeah but ECU still have a better record against UCF when just count the games that UCF was DIA too.

How would you ECU fans feel about The Citadel or Coastal Carolina to bridge the gap? They don't have great attendance now, but that could improve with entry into CUSA. They would fit nicely into CUSA's footprint and add a new state.

Damn I didn't even know pUNT was actually FCS for a good long while. He was getting on La Tech for listing FCS accomplishments, but then again from what I see it doesn't look like they accomplished anything there so I see why he would do that.

ODU has been doing the start up thing as well if not better than anyone else. 27-8 in three seasons, a waiting list for season tickets. What exactly could you want more than that out of a start up?
