I'm pretty sure, if you were to compare the numbers, (legal) immigration pays off big time. I don't have the numbers, but heck, our country is great example.

Illegal immigrants? Focus on the first word of that two-word phrase. The word is "illegal." I have no problem with immigrants coming to this country legally, applying for citizenship and ultimately being granted citizenship. We need to build a 100 foot wall on the Mexican border, built by all these illegal immigrants for free. And they also need to built a giant friggin human catapult on the US side of the fence that shall be used to send their asses over the fence upon completion of our brand new security wall.

We do not have the capacity in the U.S. to bring in more LEGAL immigrants. Unployment is at 9%. Underemployment is higher. Schools are overcrowded. Emergency rooms are stressed. Cook County hospital is stressed. We need to address closing the boarder first. Then consider anything else.
