Not as long as you might think, Glen Mason had some good teams in the mid 2000's, 10-3 one year.

Minnesota fans are being stupid. My goodness, Jerry Kill walked into a program that needs to be built up from virtually nothing. It's going to take a wee bit of time before results accrue. That said, the hire of Kill was very bizarre in my estimation. If for no other reason than his health is of serious ongoing concern.

NICE! They redesigned the site! Looks like they've got a little money now in their venture. (This site went up the day after he was signed) For a program that has never tasted success, I'm surprised how quickly they want it.

To be fair, Jerry is not helping his cause. Losses to North Dakota State and hapless New Mexico State where the women on campus went on a sex strike against the football players until they won a game; are unacceptable, even to a bottom feeder Big Ten team.

Fans are being fans....Players need to play and
Jerry needs to shut up and coach plus quit complaining.

much as it wasn't fair to give Kill credit for turning around NIU after Novaks2-10 injury riddled season. Those players Kill used were all Novaks.

Kill is so quick to blame the previous staff for what he has now, but so quick to take the credit at NIU for what the previous staff did. Not the trait of a winner.

I just think MINNESOTA sucks and will always suck. That program is horrible. Kill should of waited out and took over a better program with less stress

Give the man three years before beginning to judge his performance. The one negative that is legit at this point is that he is selfish and he did throw his players under the bus saying that they are not Big Ten caliber.

Compare that to DD who commented that his players on defense were talented but young and inexperienced and that it was the coaching staff's job to work with them to help them get better and that he was confident that they would get better and become a good defense.

Which coach would you rather play for?

Thought Kill sucked when he was here.. bet my UMinn friends (all two of them mind you) that it would become obvious rather quickly he had no business in the Big 10. Seems like a decent guy, but just not surprised by this at all. Never outcoached anyone in his time here, just had more talent. Not going to happen at Minnesota in the Big 10.

He will never win the recruiting battle.
