actually everyone needs to stop buying from the vcb, they're a joke.. But that will never happen cause its the only damn place that sells ****. A NIU and TeamFanShop relationship needs to happen. We have huge partnerships with Ohio and Temple, other MAC schools too but not as big as these three. I hope in a couple years NIU will have the money to make the switch, it will be 1000x's better for us fans. Hey, and they would actually listen to the fans and get us some quality tackle twill NIU adidas jerseys for the price that the VCB sells their jerseys for.

I just don't see it changing. VCB owns us. You want something NIU - even though, for the most part, it's always the same stuff? Then you need to go to VCB or the University Bookstore. It has been this way forever.

Because they are seemingly the only thing around here besides the government that's allowed to rob us and get away with it.

Because everyday I witness the enormous amounts of products that other college teams have. Some of it is ridiculously dumb but some of it is pretty sweet too. And since they're the official fan shop of NIU all the blame gets put on the them and Athletics. There's A LOT of officially licensed products out there that can get NIU logos on them but the VCB won't buy. And Fanatics/TeamFanShop won't buy them either because of #1 the demand (although those t-shirts i posted here sold pretty well) and #2, we have no affiliation with NIU. There would be a lot more opportunities for fans if TeamFanShop was running things for us.

It's a money things for sure and hopefully that can be fixed in a few years.

There is no official fan shop. They are an advertiser. I've bought from them, the Student Center bookstore, Fan's Edge, your joint and many others. You're right, pay more $ to advertise, and you get more exposure.
They stock what they think they can sell to their market - limited as it is.
