So...apparently Ben speaks skitter now. And Why are skitters and mechs shooting each other, and how did Rick get in there?

Skitters rebelling against their overlords? Thats...uhh...different.

Today's episode kind of explains how the aliens work:

They invade a planet, lay waste to all the adults, and infuse every child with a harnass. Over time the children of course turn into skitters, and the planet is then left in ruins. They are attempting to do the same thing here. Enslave the kids, use the kids to rebuild the army after other skitters are killed, and then move to the next planet.

In theory, the skitters could be aliens from several different planets, not just one. Apparently the harnassing effects can be resisted over a period of time.

Red Eye skitter gives Tom a warning. Either help them, and stand a chance of survival, or keep trying to resist on their own and die.

Rick dies in a way only Rick could...taking a bullet for a skitter. He tells Ben he may be the only hope for the Skitter resistance.

Mags gets shot by a Mech, minutes after kissing Hal, and then Hal saves her life. aww.

Hal and Mags get some alone time together. Tom and Anne share a "private" room. Ben tells Matt he is going to have to leave to fight for the skitter cause. Everyone is in love.

Next Week: Karen appears, and she no longer has a harness...but Ben doesnt trust her, and Mags wants to kill her.

this show never dissapoints.

Pretty much. Every episode reveals a little more to the overall puzzle, but leaves just as many unanswered questions as it had before the show began.

That's the mark of a good show.

Just finished watching it. Just wow.

TNT renewed Falling Skies for a 3rd season this week. Ratings are still really high.

That was fast, goes to show people love this show. I bet the third season's budget will be through the roof. You can already tell this season had a lot more money thrown at it.

Ratings were down big opening night because of the NBA Finals, but despite that it is still averaging over 5 million viewers

Lets get this episode going...

So either Weaver has an alien bacterium attacking his system, or his leg is naturally slimy green. Hal and Margret find all sorts of kids with harnasses removed. Only one is alive...and its Karen.

Ben doesnt trust Karen, says that she is still attached to the skitters and is trying to manipulate Hal, who of course defends Karen to the hilt. Margret meanwhile is very suspicious of how Karen ended up there.

Weaver is dying. That would be a bummer death, it cannot happen.

And on a side note, Tom is terrible with women.

Karen looks like she is up to no good. Alien spy perhaps? Pope is back...

So Ben gets within a couple feet of Karen, their harnesses glow, and they make love... thats not creepy at all..

Karen goes all skiter, jumps on Walls, beats Margret to a pulp, and pretends to Ben that she was attacked so he will escape with her.

She's not after the 2nd mass at all...she is after Ben.

Holy Hades...

Pope tells all. The gray overlords are after the Skitter rebellion, and they wanted Ben. Karen was planted to find Ben, and bring him to them.

Next week...Karen is growing tentacles....and the Alien's release a super weapon after the humans...one that looks suspiciously like tiny skitters...thousands upon thousands of them.

That was a wild ending.
