Reason USF's endowment is larger - Your school looks like a ghetto while UCF is pumping money into facilities. Just the facts.

hahahahaha
...riiiiiight!

And you probably haven't set foot on the USF campus recently.
...I'm pretty sure you'll say you have, it "still looks like crap" or whatever (even though you haven't or you wouldn't be saying that. And I'm referring to what USF has done, and is currently doing, facility-wise including: academic, athletic, research, and greenery.)

But whatever lies/excuses makes you feel better 03-lmfao
And don't you just love how most UCF'ers like to change the subject into something different... even if they don't have the right... "facts"? 04-cheers

That doesn't even make sense.

Academic facilities. The long running joke is Under Construction Forever.

Rice, SMU, Tulane and Tulsa have a better shot at joining the ACC than UCF or USF.

I wouldn't use that term, but yes people are underestimating it. I would even go so far to say that if the Pac 12, SEC and Big 10 all went to 16 and there were only enough academically suitable candidates to get to 12 or 14, they would not expand past that number to get to 16 teams.

The next round of realignment could be triggered soon by the SEC. The SEC has long had its eyes on Texas A&M and they may consider a move over to get out of the long shadow of Texas. What if for the 14th school the SEC also brought over Florida State to dominate the gulf coast region.

Much has been made of UCF's rise in football and basketball. If Florida State did leave for the SEC, could it be that UCF would be the replacement for FSU over the head of South Florida? UCF develops into a BCS buster type program while South Florida lags in the BE.

With the Big East becoming the best basketball conference in recent years and with the upgrade in football, the ACC may not even have enough interest to pull anyone over from the Big East, less maybe USF. If the decision to replace FSU is limited to USF and UCF perhaps UCF gets the call?

UCF moves to the ACC and then down the road its ECU/UH to the Big East for 12.

The M-WAC takes back UTEP and adds Utah St for 12.

For CUSA they rebuild to 12 with UTSA/UNT and WKU/MTSU.

SBC adds TX St, La Tech, Appy St. The WAC is then finished as a football league. NMSU, Idaho, SJSU play on as independents.

I hope you get your wish cause I hate the ACC

RE: UCF to ACC?
how can you college kids be proud of an endowment, part of the reason is theyr'e stealing young kids hard earned money and reducing their spending power which in turn hurts our country and economy.

it's a sin how much it costs to go to college, my school wentworth institute is 22k a year, when i went it was 4K.

Which is nothing compared to the nearly $40K I paid for tuition for a year at BU.

I can name over 2 dozen USF'ers whom I know personally (I grew up in Orlando) and every.single.one. of them has commented that UCF's campus is *MUCH* nicer than USF's. Just ran into 3 more this weekend, who have just moved to Orlando and were in the UCF area for some reason, to quote them "Holy sh*t! Your campus is *SO* much nicer than ours!" I didn't ask them about UCF or anything either, I just commented that the bar we were at downtown was mostly old UCF'ers. Hell, even my cousin who plays womens soccer for your team says she loves coming to play here because of our campus.

They're worlds apart, which is a shame because you guys really squandered a golden opportunity to use some of that funding and jump ahead of us. Instead, we jumped ahead of you somehow.
