RE: WMU @ NIU
From Kalamazoo Gazzette (probably says it all):

"DeKALB, Ill. — Western Michigan played a nice first half, but Northern Illinois is much worse than it was in Kalamazoo three weeks ago.

Xavier Silas is 1-for-8 shooting and doesn't look interested in making a play for a teammate (though Nate Hutcheson is doing a good job defensively). And the Hukies' Tim Toler is, well, beyond husky, looking 20 pounds heavier than when he scored 18 points in an 82-80 loss at WMU on Jan. 22."

There is no doubt the team has quit. Very sad and depressing to see as a Huskie fan.

I will be at the game Saturday against mighty Seattle. I really do not want to go, but I reserved the day and it's an excuse to go to DeKalb - which always makes me happy. Maybe I'll just go to the bathroom and sit on the toilet through the entire game. I really want to go to the women's game on the 26th, but I already have a commitment for that day.

It'd be just as quiet as in your seat and you'd get the same end result

So very true, but I have too much respect for those seated around me. The rows above and below me are always full. With some of the people, I think the high point of their lives is attending NIU men's basketball games. There is also a mover and shaker seated near me who always has a flow of people coming up to him to kiss his pinkie finger. It gets to be a joke sometimes. Hey, maybe I WILL go to the bathroom in my seat!! 01-rivals 04-rock
