RE: Official Recruiting Thread 2012
From what little I've read, 2012 is supposed to be deeper than usual in Florida and Ohio for recruits.

Quote:Webb: The next four are the sleeper picks --- the guys that didn't crack the top 12 but they really have the potential to make a lot of noise and move up in the rankings.
Trieu: A kid that has caught my eye recently is 6-2, 215-pound linebacker, Lester Liston from Grand Blanc. He does not have any offers right now, but he really caught my eye at the (Best of the Midwest) Showcase in Ann Arbor last month and on film.
The next guy I will throw out there is 6-1, 205-pound linebacker Prescott Line from Oxford. Those two linebackers I do not think are getting a ton of attention, so I would definitely put them in the sleeper category. They have one offer between them, but that will surely change before long.
The last two kids come both come from Cass Tech. One of them would definitely be Ruben Lile from Cass Tech. I know he just got his first offer (Wednesday) from Western Michigan, but I think he will get more. He is almost 6-3, 195 pounds, so he is a long kid that can play safety and wide receiver. I think once schools see him in person he is really going to rise.
My other sleeper would be Lile's teammate, 6-0, 195-pound linebacker, Brandon Berry. There are so many kids at Cass that sometimes guys get lost in the shuffle. I think Berry and Liles are two kids that can play. Western Michigan has offered both of them. I think the Broncos will have company there before long.

WMU has been hanging around Cass Tech a lot lately. Could be a good thing.

That can't be true, WMU hates the state of Michigan, right?

Hahaha. Yeah, too many Bronco fans think so. WMU is just more selective when it comes to Michigan. Whatever. Who cares as long as the team is good which it has a chance to be for the next couple years anyway? Never understood those who complain where we get our guys from.

Mon. March 14, 2011 | Bob Putnam
Pinellas Park wide receiver/linebacker Iman Smith received an offer from Western Michigan this past weekend, Patriots coach Ken Crawford said.
The offer is Smith's first, and it came from Western Michigan defensive coordinator Dave Cohen, who spent the past four seasons as Hofstra's head coach.
Smith is in Pinellas Park's criminal justice program. He is the second player from the Patriots to be offered. Last month, fellow receiver/linebacker Jeremi Powell committed to Florida.

Not 2012 but 2013...
Here are our three stud 2013 kids at Nature Coast. They could be big time if they keep going at the rate they are.
I got them all uploaded last night. We have high hopes for these guys. They all have great heads on their shoulders and they work hard and do everything you ask of them. They all have been starters since spring of their freshmen year.
Matt Breida 5-9 160 ATH (RB/CB) -2013
He will be starting RB and at CB this spring. Hardworking, fast, tough and smart. Baller.

Josh Benyola 5-10 180 LB/FB (& longsnapper) -2013
One of the hardest workers on on the team. He is really getting after it this offseason and getting bigger, faster and stronger.

Joey Berrios 5-10 170 LB -2013
His best assets are his motor and his intensity. He loves hitting people and loves making plays.

RE: Official Recruiting Thread 2012
Looks like Moreland has been stripped of his recruitment coordinator duties. Esposito is now listed as the coordinator.
I'm surprised, as I thought Jake had been doing a good job. Anyone have any insight?
