Yes - because Middle Tennessee is the best representative and the class of the Sun Belt. And it'd be guaranteed that the Sun Belt would play in 3 bowl games, the most we've ever had. Plus I personally just want to see MT cut a back room deal with ol Wright Waters and sneak into the New Orleans Bowl. Then have the Sun Belt "roll out the red carpet" for FIU sending them packing to Detroit where they'd get embarrassed by 11-2 NIU and once again have a losing season.

3 bowl teams bodes well for our future because I think we're going to see a much better conference next year from top down.

FIU is on the rise
Troy, MT and FAU have all been fairly stable and should recover from their down year this year
UNT, Cajuns and stAte get new coaches and new-found hope
Monroe has a chance to build on its youth
and WKU at the very least has joined the conversation.

We're gonna have bad teams representing the conference regardless of what happens bud. It's just not a good year for the Sun Belt. I do think FIU is without a doubt better than MT, but we'll see what happens on Saturday.
