i can't answer that question. Though I will add that assistant coaches Hines and Dunlap have a big hand in the success as well. I like to think this isn't some flukey year and that it's a sign of things to come, especially with this great recruiting class coming in.

Another piece of good news is, ESPN just upgraded one of our 2011 recruits from the mid 60's to #34 in the country.

As long as he can keep his assistants it won't be a fluke... but sometimes you can point to an assistant leaving a school and a downturn in the program. That would be my only concern.

Either way, he has never had a problem recruiting. His problem was always getting the guys playing as a team instead of individuals. This year has obviously not been a problem.

That's kind of my sentiment on a lot of recruiting rankings. They're very subjective, especially when you take into consideration these are teenagers we're talking about...

blah, blah, blah. It's only cool because we've been bad for so long. Seeing a recruit listed among the big boys makes fans happy
