"And to answer the question many of you have already asked, Liberty Bowl Executive Director Steve Ehrhart told Bianchi there no longer is any clause in bowl agreements preventing two teams from the same home state from play in the bowl game."

Cool. Thanks.

Not to slam on UCF, but I'm guessing UF would try to do anything in its power to avoid that situation. I would hope not, though.

Congrats on your season so far 04-bow

SEC has a clause in Liberty contract that 2 teams from same state can't play in liberty. didnt want USM vs Ole miss, or Memphis vs Tenn, LSU vs Tulane, or UF vs UCF. they didn't want to risk big brother getting embarrassed by little brother.

UCF is winning the games it "should" as the combined record of the 7 teams they have beaten is 24-40. Without making a prediction about their upcoming game against SoMiss, they "should" beat Tulane (3-6) and Memphis (1-8) to finish the season with no less than 9 wins. That's a good season but we won't know how "good" they really are until they play SEC #8 in the Liberty Bowl.

WOW, UCiF seems to be the best of a bad lot. Really hard to tell how good they really are......

Well, we $hit the bed vs. KSU but basically dominated them in their own house for 59 minutes. Godrey played like a freshman in that game (2nd start ever) and made a few bad mistakes, which ended up being the difference.

That same KSU team just pistol wipped Texas.

Your condencending post is very predictable, though.
