Only to some, to most it's about being respectful to the memories of those who lost their lives in the attacks and being sensitive to those they left behind. And that doesn't even touch on the second issue of my post which you completely ignored.

Respectful like the New York Dolls Gentleman's Club or Pussycat Lounge?

The attackers were Muslims, not strippers. But nice try. Besides, it's not like anyone is celebrating a strip club being there either.

As was posted by our own Whinny, would you then be against a Protestant Church being built near the OK City bombing site?

I don't give a chit either way. However, the hypocisy is interesting.

I'm sorry, were there hundreds of millions of Muzzies standing up in unison to denounce the 9/11 attacks? For some odd reason I think the MSM would have caught on to that had it happened.

I'm not really against it. I'm against all the liberal spin and outright lies in order to fast track this project as a political game (and throwing it in the faces of those who have a legitimate gripe), when the only house of worship that was destroyed in the attacks STILL hasn't been allowed to rebuild.

Besides, in the example of the OK attacks Christians were denouncing the attack and praying for the victims... yet with 9/11 Muslims around the world celebrated and danced in the streets upon news of the attacks.

All of which have "churches" in them, yet they aren't called "church". Please don't insult my intelligence. We all know why you and that site are making a big deal out of it.

Btw, what the hell were you doing in a cab in NYC? What kind of knife did you use?

Care to provide those sites Robert? You've proven yourself intellectually dishonest enough that nothing you say should be taken at face value.
Try starting with Google and then type them in. Of course, you know I am right and you are just being a ****.

So IOW, no, you can't provide the URL's of these Jewish and Christian cultural centers that also house a Church/Temple?

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=christian+cultural+center+church

and

http://lmgtfy.com/?q=jewish+community+center+synagogue

I noticed that the first center on the Christian list call themselves a Church. (http://cccinfo.org/)

"Mission Statement:
To help spiritual seekers become transformed believers modeling Christ in culture and encouraging others to do the same."

The point is that Park51 is going to be a Mosque, yes it will ahve other functions but it's as much as Mosque as the Christian Cultural Center is a church.

The only difference is that the CCC is not putting double speak about building bridges with other faiths in their mission statement. If you got one of them denying that it's a church it makes them deceptive, it does not justify the left, and the park51 founder doing the same.
