Then put them in the East.

ULM should be in the west and USA in the east.
I think he did that so LaTech could claim the moral high ground that they dont HAVE to play ULM every year.
ULM is a charter member of Belt football. No need to penalize existing members if they are allowed back. It's not up to the conference to cater to Techs fetishes.

Oh I agree, I'm just assuming thats why.
Right now LaTech doesnt need the 'Belt, and the 'Belt doesnt need LaTech. That could all change here down the road.

RE: Sun Belt > WAC
If I were Tech, I wouldn't consider any conference other than the WAC before September 7. If Boise loses at VT then I'd start looking, if they win, and then win the next 11 they are BCS bound and with just a little luck might slip into the title game.
My understanding is if WAC school announces it is leaving they forfeit their league revenue. I'd want another Boise BCS check if possible before I announced I was leaving.

Stop using logic. You are raining on the bash Tech parade.

Careful agreeing with me. If the Big East doesn't expand ASAP and raid C-USA and Boise gets beat by VT. Tech is crazy staying in the WAC, revenue is going to fall and overall strength will flux between 3 and 5, but coming to the Sun Belt pushes BCS revenue for the Sun Belt to third, same slot C-USA has been in for the past several years.

RE: Sun Belt > WAC
to be honest I'd much rather have Southern Miss than La Tech any day. I've never thought much of Tech's athletic program, its just the talk of the day this week.

Honestly, both So. Miss. and La. Tech should be in the Belt. They just fit in better there. If you could add those two THEN you would have something.
