No offense...but since Football and Basketball are the main revenue sources for all schools/conferences...hence the terms you hear quite often (i.e. All-Sports: Means Football and Basketball, and "Basketball only", which means no Div I-A Football program).

Thre are no "basketball only" schools, present company included. (With 29 teams, Georgetown has more sports in the conference than any school in the league, excepting rowing, sailing, and football, which of course plays elsewhere...)

None of those other teams pay the bill so you're a basketball-only. We're talking about the big boys of revenue sailing, not getting together with Robin Hood and shooting a bow and arrow or rolling around on the ground with another guy.

Why move the office to Florida? I always believed that the Big East office should be located in NYC. Providence will do for now, but moving it to Florida is basically giving the middle finger to the Big East base schools.

I'm willing to bet that if you offered the school ADs, presidents and chancellors a choice of hanging out on the beach in Florida or freezing their butts off in New York the last thing they would be thinking is that it's insulting. If it were insulting they wouldn't be meeting down there every year! On a side note, last I checked, South Florida is a base school in the Big East.

100% agree. Have the offices in NYC, have the spring meetings in Florida and then have the football media day stuff in Rhode Island.

Only why not have the football media stuff in florida as well. Northerners kinda like coming down to sunny florida in Aug-Sept.
