USF needs to beat Depaul AND Georgetown to have a decent, not a sure, but decent chance, say 50%, of getting in to the NCAA. Any win after Georgetown would of course clinch it, but a loss to either Depaul or GT and it's the NIT for us.

the officials were horrible in philly, very inconsistant and picking on wv, good win though.............
Once again, I know it's not a BEast game. But Kansas State goes down to Iowa State 85-82. They can officially forget about a #1 seed after losing to 15-16 (4-12 Big XII) Iowa State...

Who are you rooting for in a potential USF-GTown matchup this time around, quo?

99% of the time it would be Georgetown. But this situation is somewhat unique, in that a win over GT would IMO likely get USF in the NCAA tourney. So while i value the Big East tournament extremely highly, and always take it like a punch to the gut when GT loses, probably USF.

Kansas State comes across like that 2 seed I wouldn't mind playing in 2nd round as a Card fan looking at anywhere from a 7 to 10 seed. Call me crazy but I feel more scared about playing that first round game to a lessor opponent than the second round against a #1 or #2 seed. Thats just how our team has been this year. Step to the tough road games in Pitt, WVU, Cuse, UConn, UK, etc....and lose to Johnnies, Hall, etc.

The nice thing about the NCAA tourney is that Seton Hall, St. John's, and the other teams that give UofL trouble won't be there...
