Just like Bama coulda/shoulda lost 2/3 games in the SEC to UT and Auburn.

The Tide may beat Texas, everyone seems to think they will, and their defense is OUTSTANDING but this no one could do what Bama and Florida do in the SEC gets old.

The fact is we will never know because Texas plays in the Big XII. I'm trying to remember what Bama's record was in 2005, the last time Texas won the NC.

The point is all of that other, who could beat who in what conference, is pure fan conjecture. We'll all find out tomorrow night.

It's hard to beat rival teams. TX almost lost to a crappy OK team. Probably should have lost to Nebraska. Those games are going to happen. TX is much better than what both of those scores showed just like Alabama was.

I'm not a fan of the SEC. Actually, quite the opposite. I root against them all the time. A lot of friends and family root for Bama so I really don't have anything against them. I won't lose any sleep whoever wins tomorrow. I just want to see a good game to tell you the truth.

I think the '05 TX team was phenomenal. One of the best teams this decade if not the best. There are exceptions but I am realistic. The SEC is usually the best football conference most of the time. Also, in '05 Bama didn't have the one of the best, if not the best coach in the country roaming the sidelines.

Really all it comes down to with me is I'm glad Florida isn't playing tomorrow night or I wouldn't be watching it. Nothing better than watching Tebow cry in the SEC Championship game. Well, besides us getting Porter.

I have no vested interest in either team, but I'd like to see AL shut out Texas.............I can't stand car dealers. 03-wink
