IF CMU kills NIU, Temple and gets lucky with a decent bowl pairing they could be ranked at year end.

12 - 2, and a decent bowl victory probably does it. They just need to hope to get matched up with a decent team in their bowl game.

They have a big name QB, a MACC and a Bowl victory with a 12 - 2 record, could definitely be ranked depending how things go for other people and who they play in the bowl game. NIU, Temple winning their bowl games would help their cause too.

CMU comes out sluggish. If NIU gets pressure on LeFevour, he will not bein at the end of the game.

It's really not that interesting. If NIU had taken care of Ohio last week it would have been really, really exciting.

And Blackhawk, not sure what you're talking about. Temple and CMU both received votes in the USA Today poll and according to that poll, CMU is ranked 31st. If they beat NIU, Temple, and a mid-level BCS team, they will likely end up ranked. A lot of the top 25 teams will beat each other up in the bowl season.

What is that? 31st that doesn't count. Historically it means top 20 , today it probably means top 25.

***As a DI team. We won a National Championship at the DII level. Agree it's not a given we'd be ranked this season, but winning out would give us an excellent chance.

We are young and have already exceeded everyone's expectations, and Kill is still building our program, so it's ok if we lose this game.

It is foolish CMU is not ranked right now, they deserve to be.
