Think NIU will cover? I am in Vegas on Friday am for my daughters soccer tournament. This line scares me a little....
id take CMU if it's under 2 TD's

/anti-NIU
CMU 43
NIU 21
Wow and the line opened up at 10. Somebody is putting a ton of $$$ on the Chippewas. I see a letdown situation. Take the Huskies + the points.

i agree. we aren't going to come out and lay down. this game will be closer than alot think, NIU pulls this one off i have a strange feeling
CMU -- 38
NIU -- 14

That is a 26 point differential. So if I were a bettin' man I'd take the Chippewas and the spread.

I kind of feel that way to, strange feleling..... I think NIU shows up and plays like we did against Purdue. I will have to think about this.... I wonder how our backs are, rested up and feeling better? I guess that's why they call it gambling.
I'd take NIU in that line in a heartbeat.
What exactly is CMU playing for? Winning this game isn't going to get them a better bowl game. I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled some of their guys in the second half to be rested up for Detroit and Ohio/Temple

By the way, who thought Vegas was a good spot for a soccer tournament? Did the dad's decide on the location?

It is senior night for them. They will be playing for the seniors.

03-lmfao I am sure he will come back and tell you to go pound sand.
Wouldn't touch this game bet with a ten foot pole. You don't bet on NIU (for or against), I've learned that the hard way. They are unpredictable. When they are favored, they just don't know how to put their opponents away. They haven't learned how to close. However; when they are the dog, that may be the best time to bet on them. CMU is a good team, more than likely should win by 2 TDs.

Really didn't think about that one

Next year, my son's u16 team will be playing in Vegas. Should be a good time.
Yep. LeFevour's last home game = long afternoon for the Huskies.

Also playing for a shot at the top 25, we have never been ranked. Losing this game would really cripple our chances even if we win out (MACCG and bowl game).

They call it the Turkey Tournament. College coaches go, its a big deal. I am glad its in Vegas every year. Weather is hit and miss, but the clubs are always in the trunk of the car just incase Dad can swing away!

hopefully we could spoil it just like we did for gradCOCKski
This is a super interesting game - if I had to guess CMU comes out ready, NIU comes out cold as Kill.

I think we catch up in the middle...as is our custom...and then make a game of it.

NIU 31
CMU 35
Let me reveal something behind the curtain to our CMU friend(s): You guys are not going to be ranked this year, period. Don't get me wrong..other than v. us, we all wish the best for our MAC brotheren, but.. even if you beat us...then Temple (Ohio) and the average-good team you play on Bowl day...you are not going to leap frog the others trying to leap frog you. CMU is too far down the voting chain and the loss to BC ended those hopes.

As A MAC force..let's just win a bowl this year.
