You hate to see stuff like that happen...

Somebody in his family should have taught him about gun safety. You never point a loaded weapon at yourself, even if the safety is on...

foxsports.com has article saying he is still alive with a "irrecoverable injury" Does that mean he is in a coma or something.

Thx for the update dgrace4cards.

I hope he can survive this. My prayers are with him and his family and also USM. I'd like to see USM to go 3 and out and this kid punt the ball sometime in the future.

I'd say there was irrepairable brain damage, due to a lead projectile passing through the skull. But that's just an educated guess...
