Unreal. I've never seen range like that. He demands attention as soon as he crosses the half court line.

Only Maravich had that range heretofore. He was pretty ridiculous himself, but Curry is a more complete player. Maravich was a better (or at least more creative) passer, however. And that's saying a lot.

13/17 is flat out ABSURD, over 75% from deep! Curry may not be the all-around greatest player in NBA history (yes, he still has time left in his prime to remedy that), but I'm sure he will be known as the game's greatest shooter. Most 3's in a game is solid evidence.

It is OK to needle me, I will be the first to admit that I was wrong about Curry. Curry seemed to be more of a J.J. Redick style who did nothing but shoot. I didn't think that would work in the NBA as I figured someone would guard him. Never seen anyone be able to shoot it from nearly half court at a high percentage. He can't be guarded effectively if his shots are going in like that.

Don't worry, anyone who followed the NBA didn't think his game would translate to that level. In the past a guy his size would just get beat up so much out on the perimeter that they would not be able to get their shot up. But Curry's quickness, along with less hand checking and the blatant disregard for calling illegal screens now (this isn't just the warriors it is common for all NBA teams) he has been able to get his shot off.

And look how colleges ignored him; Virginia Tech not taking him probably cost Seth Greenberg his job as coach there.

He's been good for the NBA (IMO). He's a classy young man.

Ok.......................it's been awhile since I brought this back up, but tonight it seems appropriate. Steph Curry has just passed Ray Allen for the most 3-pointers in NBA history - in FAR fewer games.

And yes.................it's also appropriate because paulie's and mullins's malfeasance (to be kind) cost all of us the chance to witness Curry playing in the Dome.
