No Zibby, you just don't understand the game of basketball. Have you even watched a basketball game in your life? The other player's face clearly ran into Thabeet's elbow, not the other way around. That isn't a foul at all and I can't believe you'd suggest that it would be. Marquette is a good team but that type of play (running into other player's elbows) could cost Marquette in the tournament.

You are truly a douche and a serious piece of work. Yeah they missed that call but they also missed couple of other calls in the game too. For the most part, it was a well officiated game whether you like it or not.

Of course, the fact UCONN dominated Marquette inside had nothing to do with the win. AJ Price's 34 points had nothing to do with the win. Right....

It's weird how two people can watch something and get totally different perspectives on what's in front of them. Case in point - you thought the refs were good on both ends, and I honestly thought the officiating was pretty bad, although the suckage was dispersed to both sides evenly. They screwed UConn on a few, and Marquette on a few. Just kinda funny to me since we were watching the same game.

Anyway, congrats to the Huskies - Stanley was incredible tonight, a man among boys. Adrien's one of the most intimidating players in the country but tonight I think he was one-upped by Robinson. Great game. And Calhoun's 800th, right?

That crossover on the Marquette kid was the best play I've seen all year
long. Was that Price?

Yep it was AJ Price. AJ gets overshadowed because everyone talks about Thabeet. That being said, AJ is one of the best PG in the entire country not many people talk about.

I have seen AJ going off like this quite a few times. People like to say UCONN is not a good 3 point shooting team, but the truth is they don't take a lot of 3s in many games because the inside play is very strong.

Well tick tack fouls sometimes can be called or not called, but they don't really affect the total flow of the game. I hate when players use their strength to drive other players out of the way to score (EX. Blair vs. Thabeet). Bull rushing someone when they already established their position is not good basketball. Basketball is physical, but it is not football.

Refs made some bad calls tonight, but they did not dominate the flow of the game.

This is typical UCONN game where UCONN big men get fouled whenever they get the ball near the basket. Marquette also got a lot of calls because their guards did attack the basketball. That being said, Marquette is still a team that lives and dies by the 3 for the most part. UCONN, on the other hand, can play any style depending on the D that's being thrown at them.

Your guys look a hell of a lot faster this year, at least to me. Doesn't matter
if they're great 3 shooters if you're beating everyone down the floor.

Hell, I'm convinced, you guys deserve a 1 seed.

Scary team you guys have this year.

Thanks. This is the same team you guys played last year except they got another year of Calhoun coaching. This UCONN team to me is one of the most talented team in the country if not the most talented. The main reason is we got inside/outside combo. No one else got Thabeet. His improvement from last year is just amazing. This UCONN team is the type that's built for March due to great guard play and dominating big men. UCONN is also an excellent rebounding team that play great D.

If Stanley Robinson is able to play this Rude Gay like this game, there is not many teams that can hang with UCONN. Adrien had an off night, but he is also a monster player.

As for Memphis, I got to give to Coach Cal. Love or hate the man, but the guy can clearly coach. You guys got a team that's getting hot in Feb. That being said, lack of quality competition might hurt you guys down the stretch because in the NCAA you can't take a night off.
