No. But I do find it amusing you acting like he is the first politician to tell make a campaign promise and then not follow through.

What about elder Bush's claim for "no new taxes"? I believe he implemented new taxes. I do not seeing calling him a liar

....and what was the outcome of that?

White Guilt only works because you white people allow it. You white people need to stop feeling guilty over actions over your ancestors. Now if you agree with those actions and are ashamed of how feel then guilt away.

My guilt is not from things that my ancestors did. I am fully ashamed and am sorry for things I said and did in my youth towards those different from me. I fully admit I was wrong and have tried as an adult make amends with those I hurt and myself...Still...It will likely haunt me until the day I die.

How in the bleedin' universe do you derive that crap from any of my post ????

I can see that you will fit right in with the "Bull-Shyters o' Obama Club" without any training or classes what-so-ever.

And thank you for pointing out something about myself I never knew - - see, I guess an "old dog can learn new tricks".

Unreal !!!! Do you actually read what people write or are you just another thud-headed RobertN ???

Try to find my post on GHW Bush (Bush Sr) and the new Aircraft Carrier named after him and see how well I trust and like his cheap suit old ass.

WOW !!!!!!

In relation to the remarks of the preacher, apparently it comes from an old civil rights chant which would explain what nomad said.

Big Bill Broonzy Black, Brown and White lyrics

This little song that i’m singin’ about,
People you know it’s true
If you’re black and gotta work for a living,
This is what they will say to you,
They says, “if you was white, should be all right,
If you was brown, stick around,
But as you’s black, hmm brother, get back, get back, get back”
I was in a place one night
They was all having fun
They was all buyin’ beer and wine,
But they would not sell me none
They said, “if you was white, should be all right,
If you was brown, stick around,
But if you black, hmm brother, get back, get back, get back”
Me and a man was workin’ side by side
This is what it meant
They was paying him a dollar an hour,
And they was paying me fifty cent
They said, “if you was white, ‘t should be all right,
If you was brown, could stick around,
But as you black, hmm boy, get back, get back, get back”
I went to an employment office,
Got a number ‘n’ i got in line
They called everybody’s number,
But they never did call mine
They said, “if you was white, should be all right,
If you was brown, could stick around,
But as you black, hmm brother, get back, get back, get back”
I hope when sweet victory,
With my plough and hoe
Now i want you to tell me brother,
What you gonna do about the old jim crow?
Now if you was white, should be all right,
If you was brown, could stick around,
But if you black, whoa brother, get back, get back, get back

RE: Yikes...Hmm, this isn't racism?
Bush Sr broke his no new taxes pledge because he put the country first and swallowed his pride and his sword for his country. It was a very honorable thing he did. It was a mistake politically and economically, but its was the Democrats in Congress that threatened to shut the government down if Bush didn't sign the budget that had a tax increase on yatchs. Bush didn't want to shut down the federal government over a yatch tax. That Tax caused the recession of 1992 which cost Bush re-election. The Democrats were wrong, but Bush let them have their way. This is why re-pealing the Bush tax cuts would be a huge mistake. You start taxes weaklty folks and the don't by boats, RV's, and cars......guess who makes those things......the middle class and when those things aren't built....the middle class goes right to the unemployment line and entire business and towns shut down. Liberal Democrats are elected because they support gay marraige, abortion and will tax rich whitey to makes blacks feel better. They aren't economic experts or business owners. They think can solve the world problems by redistributing wealth, but the don't understand the laws of unintended consequences. They support windfall taxes on US oil companies because it is popular, but it makes no economic sense to do that. All that does is hurt US companies from competing in the golbal market place. Obama is a politician and backed off his position when McCain and Palin showed him how wrong he was. By Late September, OBama position became similar to the McCain position and a lot different that one one he told his fellow Democrats in the primary. Had the mortgage crisis not his the banks and investment companies like Lehman in September, MCCain might have had a lead into October and a different ending. Obama was is trouble until he changed his position to permit off shore drilling. Drill baby drill losts its steam when Obama changed his tune as its wasn't a major difference anymore.

If that doesn't disturb you then you are a racist. Your belief system centers around something you had nothing to do with...pigment in one's skin. Guess this stuff will carry on through the generations because some of you fail to realize that YOU are part of the problem, definitely not the solution. No matter what you say that was unacceptable that speech, another Rev. Wrong huhhh. Don't want to here OHHH...Blk churches crap. Guess what, people in church are sometimes racist too. Glad I've evolved, you see I'm not tribal......Creator gave us capabilities that reaches beyond.......lets say wolves.

They run in packs. Why? woof woof they look like me. There are those who get it, and those who dont. Get it before you die folks,,,,,well you never know when that time will come sooooo act quickly.

Do you realize you are doing more damage to the country by thinking in this manner? Forgive yourself, just be lucky that you got it...some never do. Now invest in the founding principals that made this country great. MarkLevinShow.com04-rock

Tell it to the "White House Shoe Throwers Association" .....

When they listen, I will listen ....

I have not thrown a single thing since Uncle Barry was elected - - I guess I need to find some ad hoc missile material, rare back with the old pitching arm, and LET 'EM FLY .... (I mean to be a 'Good American Now')

Oh well, such is life under god'Bama .....

I didn't "Miss Anything" YOU DID .... Research here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/19...59223.html

I went and pulled several articles on this event and it states that the "Shoe Throwing" pretty much became infectious and the Brave White House Police just sat back and let the heels fly.

From what is being said about this Fine Moment in Americana, "People" (Plural as in groups), were chunking shoes right and left with a glee only reserved for Obama'bation or "other" Sexual Orgasm.

So, on god'Bama's Coronation, 'Supposedly' the "Greatest Day In Earth's History", we dropped to the level of "Sharia Muslims whose only Ambition in Life is to learn how to Hate More than they Hate Now and Apply that Hate into Action" and we "Threw Shoes" ??? Threw Shoes Now ?????

And god'Bama was going to bring 'Instant Peace' to all the World and lift the long cold shadow from off us all ... non-violent people were chanting how great and liberating god'Bama has made us and that "The War Is Over" ..... EXCEPT at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave where hordes of Shoes Rained Down upon the White House Lawn tossed by "Angry Non-Violent Peace Lovers" .....

Look up the word "Hypocrisy", then "Irony", then "Activism" and come back and talk to me.

A VERY Proud god'Bama Day for all the Worlds Citizens ..... I wonder if Scotland wept as the Shoe's Sailed ever-long toward the White House ???

We have now evolved from an Educated Industrial Society, downward and into "SHOE THROWERS" .....

Tell me that you are "Honestly Proud to be an American" based on that 1000 Year Backward Step ????

If so, we are truly beyond sad as a nation ....
